3D printing materials
Every material below is printed on our Bambu Lab H2D with tuned, tested profiles. Not sure what to pick? PLA for looks, PETG for function, TPU to bend, carbon-fibre nylon (PA12-CF) printing for serious parts — or email us and we'll advise for free.
PLA Most popular
The finest surface detail and the widest colour range we offer. Best for display models, prototypes, and decorative work. Softens from around 55 °C, so it is not suitable for warm environments or direct sunlight.
PETG Everyday functional
Tough, weather resistant and slightly flexible, with good chemical resistance. The sensible default for working parts: brackets, housings, enclosures and replacement components.
ABS Heat resistant
Withstands sustained heat to around 95 °C and takes a vapour-smoothed gloss finish. Suited to enclosures, clips and interior automotive parts. Not UV stable — for parts that live outdoors, choose ASA.
ASA Outdoor & UV stable
ABS-grade strength and heat resistance with genuine UV stability. The correct choice for anything permanently outdoors — signage, garden fittings, exterior housings — where other plastics fade and turn brittle.
TPU 95A Flexible
Rubber-like, with high tear and abrasion resistance. For gaskets, seals, bumpers, grips, phone cases and wheels. Shore 95A is firm rather than soft.
Polycarbonate (PC) High strength
Very high strength and stiffness with heat resistance to around 110 °C, available in white, grey and translucent as well as black. For load-bearing engineering parts where colour or light transmission matters.
PETG-CF Stiff & dimensionally stable
Chopped carbon fibre in a PETG matrix: markedly stiffer than unfilled PETG and highly resistant to warping, with a matte technical finish. For jigs, fixtures, tooling, and parts that must hold their geometry under load.
PA12-CF (Carbon Nylon) Precision engineering
Carbon-reinforced nylon 12. Exceptional wear and impact resistance with very low moisture absorption, so it holds tolerance in humid conditions. For threaded components, press fits, bushings and end-use parts under repeated stress.
PA6-CF (Carbon Nylon) Maximum performance
Carbon-reinforced nylon 6. The highest strength, stiffness and sustained heat resistance we print. For end-use parts working near motors, under continuous load, or at elevated temperature.
PPA-CF (High-Temp Carbon) Highest strength and heat
Carbon-reinforced polyphthalamide — our strongest and most heat-resistant material. Markedly stiffer than carbon nylon and it holds its properties in heat and humidity, absorbing far less moisture than PA6. For under-bonnet parts, jigs that see heat, and end-use components that would soften in anything else. Printed to order: we source the spool for your job, so allow a few extra days.

TPU 3D printing — parts that bend
Our TPU 95A prints rubber-like parts that flex and bounce back: gaskets and seals, phone cases, bumpers and corner protectors, grips, rollers and wheels. It shrugs off impacts that would crack a rigid print — if the part needs to squash, stretch or grip, this is the one. Polycarbonate 3D printing — parts that endure
PC is the strongest unfilled material we print: very stiff, tough and heat resistant to around 110°C. Pick it for load-bearing brackets, enclosures near heat, tool parts and anything that has failed in PLA or PETG. For the stiffest printed parts of all, step up to carbon fibre 3D printing (PETG-CF, PA12-CF, PA6-CF and PPA-CF).
