One workshop, not a marketplace

Every order is printed here, by us, on our own machine — a Bambu Lab H2D. Nothing is farmed out to a network of strangers, so the person quoting your part is the person who prints it and the person who answers if something's wrong. That's also why we can tell you honestly when a part isn't a good fit for printing, instead of taking the order and hoping.

The price is measured, not guessed

Most instant quotes multiply your model's volume by a rate. We don't. When you upload a file we run it through the same slicing engine that drives the printer, so the grams and the machine hours in your price are the real ones for your geometry, your material and your settings — supports included. It's why the price sometimes moves down after a few seconds: the estimate was deliberately cautious, and the measurement replaced it.

The engine also tries your part at different angles and keeps the cheaper result. If tilting it saves material and time, that saving is already in the number you're looking at. See how a price is built up.

You can watch it being printed

Sign in before you order and you can watch your own part on the printer, live, while it's being made. We built it because handing a file to a stranger and waiting is the least comfortable part of ordering a print — and because a workshop willing to show you the machine has nothing to hide.

What we stand behind

If a print arrives damaged, warped, or not as described, we reprint it free. Custom-made items are exempt from change-of-mind returns under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — that's the law for bespoke goods, not a policy we invented — so the reprint guarantee is how we make it right instead. What we're honest about

• We ship within the UK only at the moment. EU orders are paused while the GPSR requirements are worked through, and we'd rather say so than take an order we can't lawfully fulfil.
• We stock ten materials, from everyday PLA through to polycarbonate and carbon-fibre nylon. If your part needs something we don't hold, we can usually source a specific filament — ask before you order rather than after.
• Our plate is 325 × 320 × 325 mm. Bigger parts aren't a dead end — we cut them into sections and join them. How large prints work.
• We're a young business and not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to your price and no VAT invoice can be issued.
